Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Representative - Ticket & Gate Operations, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Customer Service (Ticket & Gate) team, ensuring that our customers receive world-class service
  • Demonstrating strict adherence to uniform compliance, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work
  • Greeting customers, guiding, and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process
  • Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets
  • Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel
  • Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
  • Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
  • Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding
  • Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking, and handling baggage
  • Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
  • Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
  • Be authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to
  • Possess entry-level computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English
  • Must be fluent, both written and orally, in Spanish
