[Remote] Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant to support state Medicaid agencies in improving their business processes and policies, implementing new programs, and ensuring compliance for better healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute project activities in coordination with a team and senior leadership
- Support multiple client projects through written communication, policy analysis, facilitation of client meetings, and project tracking
- Communicate project progress and delivery status to clients and stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings and manage project action items and reporting
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health, or a similar field
- 10+ years of professional experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiatives
- Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation
- Experience working with Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan, including experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plans
- Direct experience working with a Medicaid state plan
- Proficient with Microsoft desktop applications and standard document repositories such as MS SharePoint
- Willingness to travel quarterly to Guam
